The Cabin is a charming detached timber cottage believed to date back to circa 1900 and originally built as a whalers cottage. The Cabin is uniquely situated off the main road in a quiet secluded spot and has a cosy, warm, welcoming, nurturing atmosphere. En suite bathroom, bathe beneath the stars (the bathroom has a glass roof) & breakfast in the conservatory country kitchen also has glass roof. Ideal for an away from it all experience, also for bird-watchers & walkers.

Situation
The Cabin lies to the south of the village, within easy reach of open countryside, less than a15 minute walk from the coast of Seatown (The World Heritage Coast). Chideock is an attractive village, the centre of which principally comprises of houses and stone-built thatched cottages. There are a range of local amenities, including churches, post office/general stores/newsagents, public houses and restaurants.

The immediate locality is designated as one of outstanding natural beauty and much of the surrounding countryside is either owned or managed by the National Trust. The attractive coast at Seatown with it's beach and cliff-top walks, is within about 15 minutes walk. The market town of Bridport is some 3 miles to the east, whilst the coastal resort of Lyme Regis and Charmouth is about 7 miles to the west.

Travel Instructions - by road Chideock is on the A35 about 3 miles west from Bridport. Trains from Waterloo to Axminster & Dorchester then No 31 bus to Chideock Bridge then just a short walk to Duck Street and 'The Cabin'
